Trends

• The sectoral growth during Polyclose is explained by the fact that the visitors are well mapped out. From this it turned out that the demand became increasingly broader, as a result of which we have adjusted the supply. Although on day 1 in 1991 Polyclose still consisted of a trade fair for window and door technology, very many sectors have been added in the meantime.
  
• It can also be seen that in the beginning there were primarily only Belgian participants. In view of the enormous number of Dutch visitors it was quickly deemed necessary to also have the Netherlands represented on the stand.
  
• The leap in 1998 to a two-yearly frequency was also very positively received and was taken partly due to the fact that various sectors could not present sufficient innovations within 1 year.
